Pretty amazing accomplishment, and some damn tough guys.
April 19, 2000 was the 225th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution. On that day several regular British army units wearing 18th century uniforms took part in the celebration and decided to recreate the route their ancestors took in 1775. They started out from Boston on the night of the 18th, marched to Concord then started back, all the while taking part in mock skirmishes with us local patriots. None of them were able to finish and some had to be hospitalized due to exhaustion. Now 3 of our guys RAN a marathon in full gear. Archie Bunker was right, "England is a fag country!"
