If the paper doesn't like this, well, it's not their call or even really their place to say nay to the Army setting up a Recruiting Station in East Harlem. The Army is just going to where it's more likely to find recruits; that's just how it works. If folks from East Harlem are more willing to join the Army, the Army and the country are better for it. People who think that they are "too good" to join the Military are taking too many things about life for granted.

I can't believe
how complacent people have come. It seems they have forgotten about 9/11 and I guess they think something of magnatude won't happen again. What a bunch of maroons. They better wake up and not just smell the roses, but the coffee to. A lot of these people seem to forget that the training they receive in the Army helps them get some experience in the filed they want to enter after discharge. Some Colleges apply credits in certain subjects with time in the Army (or other armed forces).
