Kerry Asks Bush to Debate on Vietnam
http://www.latimes.com/news/politics...t2004-complete
THE RACE TO THE WHITE HOUSE Kerry Asks Bush to Debate on Vietnam By Matea Gold, Times Staff Writer ATLANTA — Massachusetts Sen. John F. Kerry, reacting sharply to Republican attacks about his record on defense issues and Vietnam-era antiwar activities, sent a letter to President Bush late Saturday challenging him to a debate about their military experiences during the Vietnam War. In his letter, Kerry wrote, "Over the last week, you and your campaign have initiated a widespread attack on my service in Vietnam, my decision to speak out to end that war and my commitment to the defense of this nation." "If you want to debate the Vietnam era, and the impact of our experiences on our approaches to presidential leadership, I am prepared to do so," the letter added. The challenge from Kerry is the latest indication that if he emerges as the Democratic nominee, the Vietnam War will figure prominently in the campaign between him and Bush. -- |

Re: Kerry Asks Bush to Debate on Vietnam
It seems that he can debate the issue all by himself, with himself,
when he figures out what is his position on the issue please let us know... http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2...21/92521.shtml Kerry Denies Quotes Accusing U.S. Soliders of War Crimes In a stark about-face, Democratic presidential front-runner John Kerry is now denying that he ever accused U.S. soldiers of committing war crimes in Vietnam, despite amply documented comments - some televised, others delivered while under oath - in which he did exactly that. .... .... |

Then again this tactic seems to be working with the AFL-CIO 2) Baby killing atrocities in Vietnam but pro abortion in Massachusetts. Baby killing resonates differently to different folks. 3) Supporting Iraq war while being on both Foreign Relations commitee and Senate Intelligence comittee only to morph into anti- Iraq as Candidate Kerry. 4) Anti -special- interest - advocate with the largest PAC funded campaign taking monies from special interest groups. Debating John Kerry is like a Saturday Night skit.....but he just not funny |
