Question Payments

Does anyone know how much or about how much disability pay will increase for next year? No I'm not all excited about how much we'll get next year.

A friend of mine called today to tell me our state retirement will probably only increase by 1.2% and wanted to know what the Fed was going to increase disabilities. Sort of a compare and contrast. There is a big meeting being held on Dec. 22nd, told him I'd try to get a ball park figure.

If anyone has an idea, please let me know. Thanks!

Stay healthy,
Andy

Andy,

2.1% increase on your VA and 2.1% for Social Securtiy is what I got from the American Military Society Newsletter. Sis

Default VA Comp Increase

Andy - What Sis said is correct, 2.1%. VA comp increases are tied to the Social Security increase.

The rate for 100% with a spouse is now $2,366 per month. If anyone would like to see all the new rates you can go to:

Thumbs up Sis / Bill

Wow, fast and to the point. Thank you, both of you.

Our state, like most is not in good shape, dollar wise. However the retirement monies were invested very well and made almost a 10% profit last year. I wounder were they came up with 1.2%? OK, so this state is a bit backward.

Thanks again and,
Stay healthy,
Andy
