A-School Trained as a 6631- Aviation Electrician, but actually worked as a 4641- Motion Picture Photographer with the 1st MarDiv. Was on medical hold for pretty much the entire 2.5 years I was on active duty, so held the rank of Pfc.

Only regret was that medical disability kept me from doing my 20 years!!

No, reeb. You are not invalid. You have entered another dimension...a dimension of sight, of sound, and of mind. There's a signpost up ahead! You have entered...The Twilight Zone!

1968-1970

Sgt E-5 Changed to SP5 at Edgewood Arsenal Md after VN with profile....no marching, no jumping, no running, no long walking, blah, blah.

Left VN 11B4P Light Weapons, Infantry Parachutist

Out of Army 74 something, I think....SP5.

I have always refused the rank of Specialist when I was a Sgt/E5 Squad Ldr. (But the army didn't seem to see things my way.)
My last job was driving an Army Car or Pickup from Balto to DC. Not quite sure what MOS that was if any.
