Afghan police officer willing to sacrifice anything for his country
Allawadin, a 24-year-old Afghan police recruit, lacks an important feature normally required to become a police officer: a trigger finger. But he is willing to give up everything to fight for his country. Even after losing his index finger during a fire-fight with the Taliban, his commitment to his family and community remained firm. The young man has been fighting the Taliban for the last nine years in Marjah, having witnessed the affects of their intimidation and violence on his fellow citizens.
