Well Here I am In the wonderfully Base camp of Da Nang, This place sucks, Way to many officers and they want you to salute (?) them. WTF. I just got into an argument with our 1st SGT about him sending a short guy out to the field, and then the guy gets killed, I didn't even know the guy but that ain't right, I don't imaging I'll be in Da Nang long.
Found out that a friend was killed last month (November) He was around Kontum, I don't know why they split us up the way they do. I can't remember that last time we worked as a BN.
Hokie, Was A-companies RTO, we became good friends, I would call him and his best southern draw, he would answer Alpha-miner-over like one word. He had seven days left in country. Damn.
