Far Too Much Information
4-18-2022
Come on people – No one begrudges or even disputes the public’s right to know? But there comes a time, when the volume (and the nature), of the information that is being released becomes inconsequential or even a danger, to “Our National Security!” Hell, it was once even reported that our nation’s enemies were keeping a close and ever vigilant eye upon the news, as what was being released and broadcast, was generally far more poignant and reliable than what even their own intelligence networks could ever come up with? So - Just what in the ‘Hell’ is really being accomplished by broadcasting all of this critical data (in totality) for all around the world to see, and especially for our enemies to disseminate at will? “Or could it be that some of what is being aired by the media is indeed false and even misleading in nature?” Good Questions Indeed!! Hardcore

I agree HC -
- But a positive spin on issues gives the common man something rather then nothing at all. We are far behind on many political & technical issues and upgrades. - The Government tells the Media Management to put a positive spin on much of the news - so as to keep the people aware that they are on top of the issues. - Negative news produces insecurieties and that's not good for the public to know. They do realize much of what is posted is questionable at times and sometimes part of it is extrapulated propoganda for hype. - All Nation's due this each and everyday. To keep the public from feeling insecure. But in reality they don't have a good idea's or news to reply without more details (hence - stalling). Then they get into a huttle of sorts - and try to work out a game plan to post an upbeat media report for people - so that they don't know whats really going on - or how bad it is. - The political news is always telling the public what they want to hear - rather then saying we weren't ready or they caught us offguard - which seems to happen more than we know. - Who knows - maybe they deliberately say one thing and do another to keep our enemies guessing. I suspect this is the best line - to keep the people from worrying that our country doesn't have a handle or a clue on the particular issues of the day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An old Navy saying in my day was: Loose Lips Sink Ship's - I'd say it still applies today.
