Default Hey saw Jimmy Carter last night on Larry King Show

Saw the old guy last night on TV. It seems he's the oldest living President - EVER! Wow now that's eating the right foods. My wife always liked him. He's one hell of a humanitarian but I don't know about his presidency. I know the prisoner's cost him his 2nd term. Reagan got in after that.

Thanks Jimmy Carter for our service to our country. I wish you many more good and healthy years.

Default Boats...

He might be: "One hell of a humanitarian"?
But, and unfortunately,...apparently only for foreigners.
Guess I'm just not as big an American sport over being
ripped-off presidentially,...as are many.

That Peanut Farmer had the gall to give away
VAST SUMS of MY/YOUR/OUR lifetime saved for
retirement Social Security Monies to MANY foreigners,...
"NEVER HAVING PAID ONE THIN DIME INTO F.I.C.A.".

You and others can call such: "Humanitarianism" all you want.
But, I call such a grandscale thievery of Personal Retirement Savings
By Lordly Decree. Hell, any other retirement fund managers
in America doing so,...would've gone to jail for such.

Guess that kings & presidents can do whatever-the-hell they like?
Clinton sure-as-hell proved that very point.

As president, Jimmy sucked. I liked his brother better.
And I got a problem with his "humanitarian" . Depends on how you define humanitarian. Right now hes building houses for people that have no job, wellfair, government assistence, And he's rewarding there lifetime of liveing off the taxpayer by giving them a house?

oh , and boats, they were prisoner's in IRAN, to the rest of the world they were hostages.

It wasn't the Iranian hostage crisie that cost Carter his second term, but his total lack of expertise in every field he trod, save the peanut field. He was a foreign policy failure, an economic policy failure, a military budget failure, a diplomatic failure, but a fair to middlin' Sunday School teacher. He will probably be placed in history near or at the bottom of the worst presidents in history.

In terms of tough shape, Jimmy had to go a begging to his best Pal, the Soviet Ambassador at the time, for assistance in his reelection bid. Evidently Moscow said ?nyet? and I reckon Jimmy got that real lonesome feeling, there and then. He seems to be a nice guy though, kind of like Mr. Rogers.

But then I found out that Mr. Rogers turned out to be a former Navy SEAL with 26 notches on the pistol grip and the reason for the cardigan sweater was to hide the wrist to shoulder tats.
So then, maybe ?Mr. Rogers? is the wrong analogy. But now, I really like the late Mr. Rogers, quite a character, not unlike ?Captain Kangaroo? of the USMC.
