Default THE GRINCH WHO STOLE MY CHRISTMAS TREE

It's a brand new year and I really do want to wish everyone a Happy
and Healthy New Year, but I'm still PO'ed at the person who stole the
Christmas Tree I placed at THE WALL for my MIA. I put the 2-foot tree
at panel 37West at dawn on Christmas Day (Thursday). I spent a lot of
time decorating it with small ornaments I got at a arts and crafts
store (crystal angels with feather wings, tiny apples, a flashing
snowman, reindeer and American flag) plus POW/MIA ornaments I made and
a one-inch miniture dog tag with my MIA's name on it.

I checked on it Saturday (Dec.27) and it was fine. Went back Sunday
(Dec.28) to place a birthday card next to the tree (the 28th is my
MIA's birthday) and my tree was GONE. All the other items (including
another small Christmas tree) were still there.

I don't know who took it or why, but unless there is one helleva good
reason that I can not think of, I can not have happy wishes for anyone
who would steal such a special Christmas Tree.

I was just about settled down until I got my photos back yesterday and
now I'm mad as hell again! Not a good way to start off the New Year
but I will try to get into the New Year's Day spirit....maybe with a
bootle of wine, fruit of the vine tonight since I can sleep in
tomorrow.

PS If anyone sees someone with the afore-mentioned tree, please wish
them Happy New Year for me with one good punch to the kisser!

I donated it to a homeless shelter.

Clever attempt to trivialize remembering a missing man at
Christmas...very clever...but, sorry, no cigar. I think the homeless
appreciated the Christmas dinners I donated more.

BTW How many homeless people did you help this past year?
