Default goal in life

Any time anyone brings up, what is your goal in life,
I always tell them my goal is to piss on the moon, At first this sounds funny and then at futher thought on what it takes to do that, it become a lofty goal.

Nope, I'd pass. Lots of other things I'd rather do. I want to go 200 mph+ in a stock car, ride a pro dragster, do a sight seeing tour of NYC in a helo, sit behind the desk in the Oval Office, fly in an FU-4, B-17, go a few thousand feet under the sea and beable to look out of a window while doing it, change the light bulb on top of the Empire State Building, walk under the Brooklyn Bridge, fish with my old fishing buddies one more time.
No, my list is huge and going into space isn't on it.

Ron,

Sorry this is off subject but you mentioned goals in life. Mine has always been to die at age 72. Having been shot by an angry 24 year old, who just found out I was doing his 21 year old Playboy Bunny wife. We all have our dreams.

Stay healthy,
Andy

Default "Criticality 1"

Certain component parts of the shuttle are designated CRITICALITY 1.

This means that if that part fails, loss of the vehicle and the crew is almost certain.

The SRB joint seals (Challenger) are CRITICALITY 1.

The heat shield tiles (Columbia) are CRITICALITY 1.

There are 748 other CRITICALITY 1 components.

But, hey, we can't live forever. And what a way to go!

Please put me on the I PASS side of the list. I am with Sparrowhawk on this one. Too many things left down here to do and see to spend the ungodly amounts of time preparing for such a short adventure. But Man, would that be a sight, looking back at Mother Earth from up there. Nope, this has to be a young man's adventure.

Saludos

Well,

If and I mean If the person gives me the ticket with a good ticker, and all free, yep I would go, ( as long as they dont try to land above or on Tx ).

Be fun to jump out of that thing and parachute all the way down, but your brain would be fried before you got there.

enough.........
