Default The New Jersey Shuffle

First-off, my thanks to patriotfiles.com for letting me (no doubt other writers also) to publicly inform and let off steam un-muzzled, uncensored, un-sanitized and/or not politically-corrected, such as The Press/Media in general and euphomistically refer to as: "Editing". Except underground currently, such Public Awakenings or arousings and expose's of political deceit and mismanagement,...are quite an American rarity.

Regardless, thanks again Bernadette and David, and here's another honest and reality based commentary, instead of the people-pacifying and lordly rhetoric norm, usually meant to: "Keep The Natives from getting restless" and ignorrant of realities, and thus blissfully content with their never ending lordly rule.

Glad seeing that after about 30 years the ruling elite of New Jersey (of whatever staunch bent or many allegiances) seem(?) once again addressing what The New Jersey Supreme court deemed and declared unconstitutional way-back-when. Maybe this time such people-appeasing or political: "Tax Reform" carnival or circus will actually be for real?

It was about 30 years ago that New Jersey's Highest court decreed that paying for The People's Public School System mainly from property taxes was wrong and/or unconstitutional. Such being undoubtedly and unarguably why both New Jersey Homeowners and Renters alike (taxing on square footage effects EVERYONE except landlords and businesses) have longtime suffered one of the highest (presently highest) property taxes in The United States of America. WOW,...isn't that wonderful?

Politically appointed Attorney Generals over the years never doing their jobs and/or forcing the issue aside,...it's no wonder that New Jersey's quite adept: "Political Machine" has so easily skirted the issue, while simultaneously milking the great Public Sector: "Golden Goose" for such a longtime.

One seriously hopes that it doesn't take another 30 or so years of diversionary: "Tax Reforms" to rectify our obscene and resident-discouraging (some say: "Illegal" also) property taxes. Don't believe that most Retirees have that much time left, just to wait for such a miracle.

Then too, why should so many Middle Class and lifelong residents on retirement be financially forced moving to more affordable and more resident-friendly States? The Rich don't obviously have to do such. The Poor don't obviously have to do such. Hell, even large and rich corporations don't have to do such. Quite the opposite.

Besides, isn't it about time that ALL New Jerseyans were taxed similarly as done in most other States of America?

Also, isn't about 30 years of being: "Waltzed-around" and/or deceived by self/clique/Public Sector-favoring ABOVE ALL ELSE politicos,...long enough a time? I surely think so.

Hey! Iraqis recently got liberated from a quite lordly and tyrannical political rule. Why not New Jerseyans FINALLY, also?

The End
