A Navy pilot was hospitalized at Shands Gainesville hospital after the plane he was flying in crashed in the Ocala area, Times-Union news partner First Coast News reports. The 29-year-old pilot's condition is not known, but he was responsive when rescue found him, the report said Sunday night. Neither the pilot's station nor what caused the crash is known.
