Angry That may be why her Father wouldn't talk to her

The shames on her - its been a long time but unforgiveable no matter. This is her baggage and she has to carry it the rest of her life. Too bad I thought she was a good looking gal but I guess the head wasn't fitted real well. Yes its a sore subject and yes there are other's are also just a guilty in similar cases. Turning the cheek gets real old don't it.

Angry I Will Also Never Forgive or Forget:

To me Jane Fonda will always remain a TRAITOR to her country and a person to be held accountable for her actions. She went FAR ABOVE mere protesting of the Vietnam War. She actively GAVE AID AND COMFORT TO THE ENEMY, by her visits to North Vietnam, and encouraged American Military Members not to complete missions assigned to them. She gave encouragement to our enemy and was mostly responsible for them carrying on the war when they could have obtained an honorable settlement, for both sides, merely by talking. Jane Fonsa's ACTS OF TREASON actually gave the North Vietnamese the will to carry on the war. Knowing that if they (North Vietnamese Government) just held out long enough, changing American feelings towards the war would get the American People to demand an unjust end to all hostilities. This would directly hurt the South Vietnamese Government and military by forcing them to carry the full brunt of the war without American help. An added bonus to this, would be getting the much needed time to regain strength and then attack the South without the fear of American air and ground military power.

I agree that Jane Fonda should have been stripped of her American Citizenship when she returned from North Vietnam, and then tried for TREASON. I will NEVER FORGIVE or FORGET HER TRIPS TO NORTH VIETNAM and how she actively participated in acts that ACTUALLY GOT AMERICAN MILITARY MEMBERS KILLED. My most precious hope is to be given the time to outlive her and then be able to pay my respects, for her acts of Treason, by poaring some of my bodily fluids over her grave and marker. A fitting end to a REAL TRAITOR to her Country!!

To all of my Vietnam Veteran Brothers and Sisters I again want to wish you all a MOST SINCERE and HEART FELT:

WELCOME HOME:

The current musings of Fonda would be interesting if not so totally stuck on stupid externalizations. She's feeling very much singled out and picked on. She says that a lot of people from the US; around 300, went to Hanoi to offer aid and comfort but she alone got to be the historic tar baby and object of ire. Her age at the time, 33 as I recall, should have meant that she had acquired enough education and wisdom to not go do a full force belly flop in a pre-arranged propaganda punji pit, but she did anyway. An argument could be made that she was set- up by her communist husband at the time, or that she became the embodiment of Lenin's concept of a useful idiot, or both.

But matters not, she as Hollywood's primo cocktail party communist embraced the role and took it to the near limits. All the way would have meant manning a real hot, painting and firing AAA battery and most likely resting in many, many, pieces thereafter, and then elevated to the status of "Hero of the Soviet Union."

To my knowledge, she has never returned to Vietnam, let alone gone to Cambodia, nor did she go to Afghanistan to shore-up the Red Army during its long flail with the Mujahedeen. Nets out as, " in for a penny but NOT a pound", all talk and no walk, as it were. Certainly not the stuff of a selfless, misty-eyed, communist of propaganda poster fame that is set about gazing into the future with supposed grit and determination. Just the usual Hollywood pretend time, I reckon, not real at all and every bit as comic- phony as the communist propaganda posters.

I will be a happy camper when the word "treason" in this thread is replaced by the word "suicide."

SF
It could be that some people commit suicide many years before they actually return to the nitrogen cycle. Fact is, I highly question the mental stability of Fonda. Like how does one be an ultra Stalinist communist; all same-same Ho and Stalin, then totally ignore the gory Asian holocaust as if it never happened. Then bounce off that wall and go become an highly intense reborn Christian, then bounce off that wall to become an anti-semantic, hate Israel groupie, then blow that off and go do belly rubs with the code pink bunch, then go....ta dot ta da, name it. And all the while being in total denial about her nefarious, disgusting, deeds in VN. The real pisser is how many of Hollywood's supposed "elite" have a lip-lock on her tosh and totally back her every denial move to the hilt. Seems like ersatz firemen tossing gas on a raging fire and calling it a good day's work.

Actually, Fonda's mother committed suicide and apparently both are cut from the same mental instability cloth, except the mom decided to end the intense ricocheting around in one move. My guess is that Henry was never too keen on the intense cause du jour jerk around concept, and did have the mom institutionalized for her own good, apparently, but lord only knows about all that bunch of intense family dynamics.

If Jane Fonda were ever convicted of treason......there would be no shortage of volunteers for her firing squad. Hell you could raffle off tickets to see which of us has the pleasure of squeezing off a round on her.
