questions about C & P exams

I have received my letter with appts. for C & P exams 4 months after I filed my claim. Is this a good sign ? The appts are for C & P medicene ( malhotra ) fee clinic ( what does that mean ? )...

also lab, and C & P psychiatry clinic. Anything I should know ? How long will it take to get a rating and pay after this is done ? Thanks.

Since these are all scheduled in July we can't go on our vacation....

A platoon mate of mine in Vietnam has a 8 min movie he made in Dec 1969 and put to VCR tape. It is like going back in time. Too bad no sound. Do any of you have any movies of your time over there ?

Larry...got my rating back within thirty days but my file was stamped hardship do to them taking me off work, don't expect anything for 60-90 days, think that is more the norm.


Been quite a while since I had a PTSD C&P so can't help much with those, send Doc Fred a PM, sure he could help.

I don't know what a "fee" clinic is. I had an appointment at the VA hospital and this MD did a physical on me. I had already been going to group at the Vet Center and had been to a six weeks inpatient PTSD program at Salem Va VA Hospital. I had had a neuro psych examination which said I had significant frontal lobe problems. the Vet Center had documented my severe PTSD and the Inpatient program at Salem had said I was permanent and totally disabled with PTSD. Not much more for the ratings board to do but sign on the dotted line. But it still took months.
