Default Back In Time

Just spent some time going back through the old History Channel Board posts. Near as I can tell, my first post was on 30JUL00. Found it 162 pages back. Jaysus, we were a bunch of talkative people back then .

Some of the people that were already there when I got there:
Arrow
Andy
Packo
Doc Fred
82 Rigger
Marine Vet
Montana Kid
James [29JUL00]
Ron
Murph
Keith
Chris
Larry
Stick [SP4LittleJohn]
Drywall [Dropwall]
Tina
Super Scout
Gimpy

We've sure laughed; cried; loved; disliked; fought; comforted; reassured; and shared intimate thoughts, hopes, dreams, nightmares, and families with each other through the years.

I hope all these guys are doing well:

WHAT A LONG, STRANGE TRIP IT'S BEEN

Thumbs up

Can't believe the benefit I have gained through " talking " on this and prior sites to me and my family. I never talked about Viet Nam to anybody prior to this.Kept a lot of stuff buried in my heart. Felt like the lone ranger for many years . Thank all of you for listening and sharing your stories. "The bond that links your true family is not one of blood but rather of respect and joy in each others lives. Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof " Bach. I am honored to be part of this family. See you soon brother Tom

Frisco,

I get occasional emails from Butch (Jolley), and all indicators are that he's doing fine. Wow.....4 years of friendship and brotherhood. Seems like only yesterday.

Tom, tell Kath that I think I am gonna be able to make it to Parris Island today.....hopefully.

Tom,
You left out Indiana, Jungle_Work, Squad Leader, and Vet_31 (captdad).

Those were the days.
