How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.

Methinks ol' gimpy is too busy right now, trying to distance himself from his favored presidential pretender, John "Loose Zipper" Edwards. When I posted a little tidbit about Edwards and his sleazy behavior, I was attacked by gimpy, instead of gimpy's condemnation of Edward's low-life behavior. Not one word about Edward's lying, his lack of judgment, his poor decision-making, his betrayal of his vows to his wife, just an attack on me. I really thought gimpy was a better man than that, but I guess I was wrong.

Thanks, Larry, for bringing this error on my part to my attention. You did it in a very gentlemanly way, as opposed to a person who has openly stated that I knowingly sent Democrats and/or liberals to their deaths in Vietnam, a charge that is totally without merit, basis or fact, and is the worst insult I have ever received in my entire life. For making such a statement, James is the scum of the earth, and despite his very lame private attempts to apologize for his brazeningly and egregious remark, is still reprsentative of the lowest forms of human excrement.

Having said that, I feel much better!

Irrespective of what errors might have been in the comparison of the Half Honkey and McCain, the following is still true:
1. There will be higher taxes in an Obama administration than in McCain's.
2. Government will be bigger in O's admin vs. McC's admin.
3. America will suffer more attack during O's admin vs. McC's admin.
4. Other negative economic markers will be worse under O.

Barack Hussein Obama wants to raise taxes on those who he deems 'wealthy.' That's another socialist/communist construct. I'm opposed to taxing wealth, but am in favor of taxing consumption.

Barack Hussein Obama is also a weakling when it comes to foreign policy and experience dealing with foreing matters. If just going to a foreign country counts as 'having foreign policy experience,' as he's claiming, then I have four times as much experience as he does.
