It's Not That Damn Hard

There are certain things in life that are not that hard to understand and to contest! For instance, when the Japanese fleet was spotted steaming toward Pearl in early December of 1941, only a damned fool could not have considered the possibility of attack?

Or when tensions between the North and South were high in 1860, the possibility of hostilities escalated to a fever pitch, and the rest is history!

Or on a less bloody scale, but none the less as critical, are the assaults against “Our Constitution” and its “Bill of Rights”, without which, “Our Nation” could not survive!

As I said above, it’s just not that hard to figure out why some people are plunging their knives into the backs of all that we as a nation stand for! The real question is – “Why are we standing for it?”

Granted, it is every “Free Citizen’s” right to protest, but when that right is undertaken with but “Totally Vested Political Party Motives”, then is not “The Will of The People” (past, present and future alike), the real target of “The Politically Vested Few”, along with their “On-Command Toadies?” And if you doubt this analogy and opinion, then I invite you to think back to when a leader of the free world once referred to “Our Founding Fathers” as a bunch of terrorists! Or the fact that not too many of us (or our politicians either), came to their defense, as they did to ours, away back in the early years of our fledgling republic!

And No Former-President (et al) - “It Isn’t O.K. To Be Second Best”, as also-rans have a disturbing habit of disappearing into the pages of oblivion! And I for one would much prefer to be scorned and feared by our enemies, than to be but a paragraph or two in some seldom (if ever) read history book, or neck-deep in a socially-acceptable and often polluted swamp!!
