change my U.S. Citizen status
Found this on a forum in NY.
The Honorable Hillary R. Clinton 309 Hart Senate Office Building Washington DC, 20510 Dear Senator Clinton, As a native New Yorker and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Immigration and Naturalization Service in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you. My reasons for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stem from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill's provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, what is needed to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out. Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of the last five years taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent return for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes between 2000 and 2005 and I estimated a gross savings approximating $72,000. After the fine this would yield me a net savings of $70,000. In addition, I would reap the other benefits of being an illegal alien such as free healthcare, avoidance of paying Social Security taxes, buying automobile insurance, serving on jury panels, free education with meals, etc. If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance. Your Loyal Constituent, |

Personally, I think this should be on the General Information thread.

So what's new?
The American Citizen/Taxpayer have been treated like butts of The P.T. Barnum quip: "There's a sucker born every minute" QUITE BIPARTISANLY (even though Dems proved much greedier), ...and FOR MANY YEARS to-boot. And besides, doesn't Big Brother always know what's best for all? Question any foreigner (here legally or otherwise) and I'm fairly sure that he or she will concur or bare me out? Brice, Have to disagree about politics and/or revealing of longtime and quite asinine political dictates being over here on General Posts with jokes, personals, multiple news reruns by some and trivia, since any important POLITICAL MATTERS & EXPOSURES as this are quickly lost in the shuffle or relegated to the back pages of This Forum. Besides, politics not-a-biggy here and there's The Political Debate segment. Granted, and even though most jokes are always on US (re. The American Citizenry,...still think political exposures and political jokes belong with politics, and not with personals. Hey,...just my 2 cents. Neil |

Sadly, there were some Republican senators that also voted for this giveaway program - John "The Weasel" McCain - come to mind. The reason why it should have the broadest dissemination is that so people can see how their senators are voting on this vital issue.

Brice...
Understood, and/or that about 60% (re. non-voting Americans)
is better than an about 40% (re. Americans of The Electorate) possibly viewing. Maybe, and since such matters of grave importance effect the overall screwing of ALL and/or 100% of We Americans (naturally all politicians and affiliated to The Political System excluded),... such should be on both POLITICAL & GENERAL Forums? Hey,...granted that a 60/40 viewer split really not all-that-bad. But, I must believe that a 100% possible viewing & awakening is even better. Besides, name me ANYTHING that's not politicized to death,... in current America? Event blatant RIGHTs or WRONGS and GOD are. Neil |

Quote from Franklin Roosevelt in the 1940's "There Isn't But A Dimes Bit Of Difference Between The Democrat And Republician Party".
Some years back, there was a Democrat and Republician candidate in the run-off for Governor in Virginia and they was having a debate. The Republician canididate said "whenever we have a Democrat adminstration in the Governors office, all they want to do is tax and spend". The Democrat canididate responded by saying "and whenever we have a Republician adminstration in the Governors office, all "they" want to do is borrow and spend". Take your pick.

W-Hole...
For those not brainwashed or generationally duped believing that politics actually of some merit: "For The People" ALSO,...you raise a Very Good (actually very bad) Point and/or that in general: "We The (Schnooks)" only ever get to vote or given a choice between; "The lesser of two EVILS".
Unfortunately for We Jerseyans, we're not even given such a despicable choice, since matters not whether Democrat or Republican Ruled or Dictated. New Jersey will still remain THE HIGHEST TAXED STATE in The United States of America, whether we have Democrat or Republican Governor, or a Democrat or Republican Congress. Our Quite Lordly Political Breed merely take turns pompously, greedily, cavalierly and dictatorially Screwing The Citizenry Over. Quite generous to Minorities, Foreigners (legals or otherwise), affiliated and THEMSELVES??? W E L L,...that's a whole different story. Of course. So then,...just count your blessings and/or that differently living in A Free State, W-Hole. Neil |
