February 11, 1968 (14th day of the 1st month, Year of the Monkey [Mau Than]) (US Tet Counteroffensive) (PSS): ' "If you find my cap and lighter, bring them back to me, will you?" The request from 1st Lt. Frank C. Wickersham III was passed to maintenance crews sent to recover his UH-34D helicopter which had been shot down...."
February 11, 1968 (14th day of the 1st month, Year of the Monkey [Mau Than]) (US Tet Counteroffensive): Tet-68 update in Hue and Marble Mountain.
February 11, 1969 (27th day of the 4th month, Year of the Rooster [Ky Dau])(US Summer-Fall 1969): In the Chu Pa region of Pleiku Province, 2nd Platoon, Company B, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry assaults the enemy positions that have had it pinned down since February 9.
February 11, 1970 (5th day of the 1st month, Year of the Dog[Canh Tua]) (US Winter-Spring 1970): US aircraft attack Communist gun positions in Cambodia. The DoD will later reveal that the USAF has secretly conducted 3630 B-52 strikes in Cambodia prior to March 1970. (VHPA, TVW)

February 1971 (1st and 2nd months, Year of the Boar [Tan Hoi]) (US Counteroffensive, Phase VII): Lam Son 719: Heavy NVA resistance slows down ARVN's advance into Laos while counterattacks threaten its fire bases. In the mornings and afternoons, thick haze mingles with artillery smoke, making the job of US air support crews challenging. (TVW)
