With a little planning they easily could have transplanted it to the Rio Grande River.

Now that should have cut down on the illegal migration just a tad!!

Default YUP,...

...

...saw some huge ones in La.,...

...just suning themselves, they lay so motionless, so still, so quiet, knowing that somehow, someway, something stupid will walk within range,...

Daaaammn that thing is hughe. Must have been eating his Wheaties on regular basis. Glad I live in NYC where all I had to contend with were the rats. Don't know Ron maybe three or four that big would have an effect.

There not all this big, Thats why he's on a hook.
Most are 5-6-7 foot range. Conroe is not noted for Gator because its built up with houses and bars all the way around exept in the north west corner. Summer time party lake.
They wont bother humans as long as you keep away from Moma and babies. When I go fishing I take my rods, and tackel and my 444. Had one come up to me withing about 8 feet, had my gun pointed at him cocked, one more inch and you die sucker. He must of understood english, He left , He was about 10 feet.
Fishing on a gator lake is a new experience for yankees, don't step in those fire aints . Chiggers are fun.

We have had a few Yankee Tourist down around here lose a few dogs while jogging along the river banks of the St Marys river and down further in Fla they have even had a few Yankee Joggers them selves running along the river and one of them gators sunning themselves on the sidewalk just grabbed them and scooted into the water "chomp, chomp" . Then there are the chiggers aka Red bugs that like to nest in Spanish Moss hanging off our big ole' live oaks. You should see all the Tourist grabbing a handful of moss to take home as a souvenir their itchin and scratchin gives them away every time (LOL)
