Crazy damn election.

The Democrats were so desparate to beat a Republican somewhere that they designated one of their own to be one and beat him...Lieberman. Meanwhile in my congressional district here in Tennessee a Democrat has never had a snowballs chance since the Civil War. We had about seven Republicans running and one guy ran against Hillary Clinton, saying he needed to go to Washington to vote against what she was for. All of them had ads showing them singing in church. One was a Doctor whose main selling point was to go to Washington and do something about the high cost of health care for the poor. This is a guy who with his buddies started their own private hospital just to get away from Medicaid patients. It goes on and on. The end results was the guys who spent the most, sold their souls to special interests the most, won as usual. At least married gays won't be burning the flag. Everyone wants to rant about our dependance on foriegn oil and the need to drill Alaska even more while American oil is being sold overseas to the highest bidder. Neither party addresses that. I wonder why?

We are all just Bozos on the Bus and don't stand a chance from either of these parties. It's always the lesser of 2 evils and the evils keep getting worse and worse. Maybe we need a harsher term for evil. I have no trust in ANY politician. We're all screwed and I have no answer. My old friend Skip in Maine stopped voting years ago. I might do the same. Depressing....isn't it.
