As we are finding out there were plenty of opportunities to get this guy before it went down.
1. The gun store owner having no video camera in his shop - is nuts! 2. If you sell an automatic weapon and ammo at the same time - is nuts! 3. Anyone buying a automatic weapon should have his picture taken and a copy of his drivers license - subject to FBI investigation - prior to any ammo being issued out. 4. His X-wife knows more than she's telling. She could have stopped this whole thing had she reported this to the officials. 5. I'm for gun ownership but why does anyone need a automatic weapon except the armed forces. 6. We need to crack down on seller's and buyer's - not to say you can't buy one thru other sources illegally. The news todays said one shop is selling 14 automatic units a day - A Day!!! 7. Special permits or license have to be used for buying these types of assult weapons. 8. It's bad enough hand guns are very prolific - more automatic types rather then revolvers. These in the wrongs hands can also do great harm. 9. Hunter's don't normally use automatic weapons. High power rifles bolt action or lever action should suffice. I may be wrong but any input of this subject will be appreciated if you can tell me buying and selling these types of weapons is really necessary.
