Under God/under Fire - Again?
How can ?BUT ONE JUDGE" declare that what the majority believes in and adheres to, is un-Constitutional?
For that matter, why have we allowed our resolve and rapidity to action to be mired down by those who emerge caked in "Shit & Confusion" when placed into a bathroom with two different colors of toilet paper! ?ALAS, WE ARE MINUTEMEN NO MORE!!? ?Like it or not, the fact is that segments of our very own way of life are under attack!? Call it ?Conspiracy?, a ?New World Order?, a push toward a ?One World Government?, or ?Globalization? if you prefer, but the fact remains that things are changing, and not necessarily for the better!! Another challenge has been levied against the words ?UNDER GOD? in our ?Pledge of Allegiance!? Rather than those who have no religious beliefs just omitting these two words, they again seek to force feed their own doctrine to the vast majority who believe otherwise. "Is this not a form of reverse discrimination?" And as for our new ?Let?s Discuss The Hell Out Of It Before Reacting To Imminent Disaster And Danger Philosophy", had we thought thusly in the past, we would still be sipping tea in the afternoon, raising the Flag of Mexico over Texas and California every morning, and the taverns on our Pacific Coast would now be ?Serving Saki instead of brew during the Happy Hour!? As is, we still have that gigantic tombstone (United Nations) planted right along side the East River! Who would have ever believed, back in 1991, that we would be on the verge of Round 2 In Iraq, some 12 years later? Or that instead of ?SCUDS?, it would now be ?al Samouds and Silk Worms? that would be of concern? As far as that (so-called) ?No Fly Zone?, it reminds me of a Twenty-first Century DMZ! Telling Iraq not to go airborne in the south is like telling Hitler to stay the hell out of Poland or Norway!! Well, if nothing else, the very thought of blood and gunsmoke seems to invigorate the ?Ghouls Of Wall Street!? Just the mention of war and the stocks go trough the roof, gas prices go crazy, and the boys in the three piece suits begin to slobber and crap their draws!! ?Hell, even au (gold) is up $20.00 an ounce!? ?Now what does that say about the mentality of this race called humanity!?? A QUINTESSENTIAL OXYMORON OF BIG BUSINESS - ?En Muerto Hay Dinero, En Dinero Hay Vida (In death there is money, in money there is life!?) :cd: :cd:

Houston
The Houston city councel lead by its Mayor wanted to Have a proclamation against the upcomming war with Iraq. Thankfully it failed. But what if it would have passed. I can see the security councel now, as they receive a proclamation from the city of Houston stateing there should be no war, Well then I guess we can't go to war, Houston has spoken. These dumb ass members of Houston city councel really beleve that there opinon is that important that the US goverment is going to even listen to what they have to say. The ones that voted it down said, we have much more important issues to address, Schools, pot holes etc.
Ahh Texans, ya gota love em. Ron |
