Just Keep On Pounding

I would like to say “ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER DOLLAR”, but these days, it is getting harder and harder to even scrape by! And that is a fact that all of us (including veterans, and other men of honor and grit these days) must eventually face?! And no amount of lamentation, or even bitching, ever seems to posses enough clout to tear us loose from these doldrums of despair and moral turpitude - and so it is!

But pound on we must, lest the beasts that haunt the feeble human brain win out and claim us too as a prize of forfeiture and surrender? But surrender, we must not, nor will we ever give in to - “any turd of decay and deception”, not within this reality, in either event!

“So I guess that we must just keep on pounding, even at eighty-three years young, for they do say that hope, and utter fools, do spring eternal!” And even with all of my many faults, a quitter I have never been – at least not in causes that display any chance at all (be it ever so menial), of total success- “And So It Is!!!”
