Default Missions 33 thru 37......enemy fighters did not engage.........

Mission No 33 & 34
May 7, 1944
Bucharest, Romania

The target was the Marshalling Yards. We were at an altitude of 24,000 ft and it was 27 degrees below zero. We saw 2 enemy fighter planes that kept their distance. They didn?t shoot at us and we didn?t shoot at them. They shot quite a bit of flak at us. Nobody got hurt.




Mission No 35
May 12, 1944
Civitavichio, Italy

The target was the railroad yards. We were at an altitude of 21,000 ft and it was 28 degrees below zero. They shot some flak at us.




Mission No 36
Same Day (May 12, 1944)
Near Rome, Italy

The target was The German Army Headquarters. We were at an altitude of 21,000 ft. There were no flak or enemy fighters.




Mission No 37
May 13, 1944
Bolzano, Italy

The target was railroad yards and a railroad bridge. We were at an altitude of 25,000 ft and it was 30 degrees below zero. I saw about 20 enemy fighters but they didn?t attack us. We had some flak shot at us.
