Anti-war rally picture exposed as fake, By DAVID GARDNER, Daily

t was the photograph that could have stopped John Kerry's race to the
White House in its tracks.

It showed the Vietnam war hero, the man most likely to be George
Bush's challenger for the Presidency this autumn, sharing a platform
with anti-war activist Jane Fonda.

Said to have been taken at a peace rally in the early Seventies, the
explosive photo was flashed around the world, appearing in newspapers
and on TV.

With "Hanoi Jane" still a traitor in the eyes of many Americans, it
appeared a potentially mortal...
