(Yet Another Personal Opinion Piece)

I just read a story that stated that threats against public officials were now on the rise and confidentially (and in my opinion) this comes as no great surprise to me, as the amount of mouth that is still being expended by a few highly-placed and blatant-fools, certainly should draw far more legal attention than is currently being directed at a modicum of these hapless creatures! For we are still a nation of true-titans and even though we shun unnecessary conflict, “We Have Never Side-Stepped It Either!”

Nowadays however, the big mouths and outright lies of a damn-few fools, seems to have overtaken even our common sense at times! And a scant few of these creatures have even embarked upon a very dangerous path indeed (opinion) – and one that might just lead us in directions that we have not even foreseen or even imagined as yet?!

So whatever happened to “Our Magnificent Society” or have we truly succumbed to the same old and deadly social-venoms that once laid-waste to “Mighty Carthage”, along with “The Ancient Greeks and Romans as well? And once upon a time, “Our Magnificent Forefathers” set forth upon “This Continent” a brand new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that “All Men Were Indeed Created as Equals” – so what happened?

Now, we seem to be content to merely feast off of the carcasses of past-glories and this, while we are vociferously lead-around by our noses and occasionally, even by dolts and fools of the same variety that literally decimated the great and promising societies of yore?

But then we are a far different story – are we not, the key word here being “NOT!!” So why are we (once again) becoming like those decaying old societies that “Our Forefathers” escaped “The Old World” to get away from? And why are a few of our vacillating politicians now seeking to once again ally us with the very same brand of despots that attempted to decimate us in times past (Just a question)? The United States of America – First and Foremost!
