My heart genuinely bleeds for our veterans and active military alike! We are involved in a war that no one in power seems to have any idea on how to culminate? I also fear that these gallant veterans too, will be treated to the same brand of arrogant betrayal upon their return, as were thousands of others before them at the hands of a few elements of the system (You know who they are, I think!? ?HOW SOON THEY FORGET!!?

When a trooper returns from combat, or even peacetime service, the last thing that he or she needs is to be treated like excess baggage by those in whom they placed their trust! They gave their all, and as such, is it too much to ask that he or she not face another adversary, a domestic and virtually unbeatable one at that, in far too many cases!

We live in a nation that pisses away vast sums of money in an attempt to buy the friendship of every foreign bastard with an ax to grind. We lavish tax money without end on countries who would see us obliterated in a heartbeat, and yet, those entrusted with the well being of our own veterans and our general population, often seem politically hell-bent on supporting half the planet, while tightening their vices upon absolute power (opinion) at the expense of our own - ?WHY?!?

And at the same time that all of this is taking place, even many of the well-heeled in our own nation are capitalizing upon the pain and suffering of our military, our elderly, our middle class and yes, even our poor! And this, while bitching up a storm over their own burdens! Gee, ain?t it lucky that we have not arrived at a point in time when ?Political Final Solutions? have become the order of the day - ?YET!??

As far as a few of these petty bureaucracies (and I do mean PETTY), as well as the titled stuffed-shirts that infest them, have we as a great nation slipped back into a day when kings and despots are of more value than Liberty and Justice (REAL liberty, and REAL justice)? And before the inevitable mass betrayal of our honorable returning service members begins in earnest, not that it is not already afoot in a few instances, should we not sound the alarm in mass, and declare that this will not be tolerated any longer - not in this nation, and not upon our own service personnel! "AND WHERE IN THE HELL ARE YOU - MR. PRINCIPI", and why do you and the President still tolerate lies, record destruction, legal manipulation, and maybe even worse, leveled endlessly against this nation's veterans?

And are many of our legislators too blind or too complacent as to what is really going on, just don?t give a damn, or worse yet, are they themselves part of the problem!

Hey, it?s your choice - you can continue to tolerate what you know to be in error, or you can zip up that zipper, stiffen that lip, and say enough is enough!? We still have the power (within the law) to throw any (even) firmly entrenched sonuva-bitch out onto the streets! Or will we wait until we live in a world where a Big Brother rules supreme! "Ya don't think it can happen, do ya?!"

I would have thought that the recent California recall would have sent a message to ?ALL? politicos, regardless of party servitude or geographic station, that ?WE THE PEOPLE? still control our own destiny! The problem is, that far too many in power still think that we are kidding - ?ARE WE!??
