Question, that maybe you can answer...
Hey gang,
I got in the mail today my records from NPRC and included with the enclosures was an Awards Record. Ok, here comes my question... If I am reading the paragraph and sentance correctly here: (this is taken from letter via NPRC, word for word in the snipit) "While NPRC verifies entitlement to awards, the Department of the Army maintains jurisdiction for issuing the actual awards. These awards will be shipped directly to you from the US Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command at the address shown below." (ok, two sentances, sorry) BUT, do I read this correctly that the US Army will be sending me "new" medals/awards from this place soon...OR...do I have to place a request in for the "new" medals/awards? Thanks for the time gang!
