Well Gracie of the North what do you think about the new york winters. will you ever thaw out? Its 55 degrees and raining out here in Washington state.

At the risk of airing our dirty laundry in public, I didn't move too fast. It was a long ride down here, but I got to catch up on some reading & watched a couple of movies on a neighbor's laptop.
It's good to see my peeps down here, but truth be told, if I could be back there right this instant, it wouldn't be soon enough. Ran into lots of servicepeople along the way, though. Gotta tell 'em: WELCOME HOME!!!

Had ta come back down ta debrief? Them Yankees just plain talk too dang fast fer me. Can't make hide nor hair outta it. Reckon they gotta talk that fast so's their tongue don't freeze to the roof a their mouth. We ain't got that problem in this neck a the woods but we invented JD as mouth anti-freeze just in case of a cold spell. If those blame Yankees hadn't been so intent on invadein folks we coulda taught em the proper way to stay warm.

Well, I made a valiant attempt to join them for Round One over in the desert, but the Air Force wasn't crazy about the fact that my knees had been through a motorcycle accident.
