American Soldier,...
...
...Is the name of the new "CD" put out by the band "QUEENSRYCHE",and it is a testament to just that, the "AMERICAN SOLDIER",... ...Aside from being born a brat in Germany years back, the 50 year young lead singer recalls sitting on the back porch of his family's home with his father who happens to be a Korean, and Vietnam war veteran, He said as his father spoke for the first time ever, his jaw dropped, and realized it was time to pay tribute to those that have served, From the dusty combat boots that adorn the cover, one wonders weather he, or she survived, and the content is not one from any one standpoint, it is told by interviews with soldiers fro WWII on up through the current conflict in Iraq, and the middle east, some offered their experiences, and some told him to screw off, but this CD took a couple years to put together, worth a listen,... ...there is also an "Amazon video" , and an article in the New York Post out there interviewing Tate on why he decieded to make this cut, as a tribute to the Honor, and grace of us all,... ...This is the change we've been looking for,... ...Welcome Home all,... ...
