Default Senate Resolution #242

Compared to alot of legislation, this one is probably least important to most of you, but I'm gonna pitch it anyway.

SR.242 is the declaration by the Senate for National Airborne Day. It memorializes paratroopers living and dead. It has been declared a National Day for four years straight now, if it passes this year, it's on it's way to being a permanent fixture on American calendars.

Most of us remember the recent news videos of those Rangers making a night drop in Afganistan. What better way to thank them than to write your Senator and ask him/her to support SR.242? Thanks for your time. Now get off your ass and write!

In case anyone is interested, Senate resolution #242 passed last week, so August 16th is officially National Airborne Day for the next two years. Take a paratrooper to dinner. I'm available after 4 PM.
