I feel any US or Foreign Military Base needs to be checked to safeguard the local population and the environment regardless of the cost. People must have confidence to know that not only are we protecting our country but we also safeguarding the local people in an around each base. Regardless of what the War Dept. wants to do its the right thing to do. If its suffering from old age "fix it up or tear down" and better yet just clean it up. There is no question about it. We all know the contaminants each site has on it. We all know how much crap is on
