Football, would you believe middle line backer? God I loved to hit people and not get in to trouble.
Baseball, 2nd base or right field.
Basketball but just in a church league.

Stay healthy,
Andy

Defensive end and middle linebacker in football. Firstbase and 12th string pitcher. Tried basketball for a couple of years and never could get interested in it. Soccer for 9 years and many years of slow pitch softball in the Army.

I never played any sports in school. All the girls I dated said I would never make it to first base, so I figured I wasn't any good at sports.

I supported the football team In High School by dating one of the players girlfriends. The team was on a 9 pm curfew and she liked to party. Anything for the team!!!!

When I was between 8-16

Baseball everyday - what else was there!
Bowling five days a week.
Ice skating in the winter

Too short to play basket ball.
Too light to be a wresler.
Don't like hockey.
Like rugby - never played the game but it looks interesting.
Tried volley ball - it was OK
Wanted to play football - I was too light.

In the Navy I boxed got sh_t kicked out of me but
when it came to a street fight now there is where I shinned!

Today I watch the Bears and the Sox play ball other than that
my honey doo list grows Mon-Fri so I don't get much of anything
sporty to do other then my chores.

ps Wife and I will have 37 years this July - Wow! same women same kids. Life sure did blow by.

In HS I played football, baseball, and hockey. In the AF I played flag football and softball. After my discharge I played in men's softball, basketball, DEK hockey, flag football and rugby leagues. I also officiated football (Pop Warner through prep school levels) for 16 years in Central and Western MA. I pretty much had to give up sports when I developed spinal stenosis and my knees went south.

Cross country. Nobody ran back then on roads and it was hard to train without people stopping to offer a ride or ask what the trouble was, including the sheriff. We were good, maybe because of the beer we hid in the bushes at the one mile mark.

1CAV,

A former co-worker used to run cross country in HS. When they were the home team, the coach would walk the course with them the day before and, of course, they would not good places to hide the beer, then return that night with the stash. She said she never won a race...but then she didn't care!

I wonder if that had anything to do with her being in and out of rehab.

Kinda stunk at track, hockey i was a better player on a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad team. and lacrosse i am actually good at. Its a shame they dont have it up here, me and a buddy are trying to get a league for the kids started though.
