Wow!
It's almost happening too fast to report! In January, son #1 deployed to Bosnia somewhere, with his unit's mission of tracking down some really bad guys. Saw a report from one of my sources that one of them has been tracked down and the authorities are just waiting to get the "paperwork" all filled out. No doubt, I'll get a more detailed report from my lad. And he was promoted to major over there. Hope to pin on his silver oak leafs down the road.
Then son #2 calls to report that granddaughter #3 same/same as grandchild #8 has arrived, and all are healthy! Our blessings, as well as the size of our Christmas gift list, just keeps getting better!! Next in line of good news is the engagement and pending marriage of daughter #2, currently working in Afghanistan. I'll have the privilege of walking her down the aisle at the Loretto Mission in Santa Fe, in July, wearing of all things, a morning coat! Seems that's what the Brits prefer, and her betrothed is a former Brit para!!

Alot of celebration-worthy events going on in your family lately. Glad to see your daughter has a good taste in picking men

Thats great Brice . I am sure you had days in 68 like I had in 71 where I was pretty sure I would be dead befor the next day arrived. Now here we are blessed with children , wives , grandkids and friends. We have truly been blessed along our path through this life. What Tom said about your son . Opa , the very very lucky . Scouts out Sir !!

That Mr. 'Iggins is a former para is simply a good sign that he knows how to take orders. And since he's a former NCO in the Brit military, I'll have to see how much he remembers about military courtesy! I mentioned to him that I was baffled how a product with a name of "Worchestershire Sauce" could possibly be pronounced "Wooster Sauce," allowing for the comoplete dropping of several sylables, when convenient. So in his honor, I propose to rename "Niagra Falls" as "Niffles." Will pass on the good word to my pup. Your Dirty Ol' Leg Friend!
