here's the biggest lie Ive seen here lately:
"The US Tax Code changes that were made by your liberal Democratic congress years ago, that devalued real estate holdings as an investment, were the major causes for the S&L failures you're alluding to. After these socialists detemined that these changes neede to be made, S&L's started dumping their real estate portfolios, which in many cases were the bases for profitability of S&L's to begin with. The truth and reality is that you should be blaming your socialist/liberalcongressthugs, rather than Ronaldus Maximus Reagan.


This is a complete, vicious, malicious lie without a word of truth in it, told by someone who obviously does not have the integrity or intellectual capacity to want to find the truth. anybody who reads ANY book, liberal or conservative will find a diferent story.
Its nothing but a godam lie--if you have ANY I mean ANY refernce for ANY of this--that '"liberal" rewrite of the tax code caused the S&L scandal then put it down here--if not, we know its just another slanderous lie of which you plant so many here

...I'm not a political expert, and do not lay claim to most of the bullshit that hits the airwaves anyway, BUT, wasn't it the "Liberals" that started bombing the colleges at Berkley back in the 60's, and holding "sit-in's" against the war in which you were fighting for...is this the "can't beat em, join em" syndrom, or what....
...as far as I can tell, your "very" up on what is your information regarding the who threw the mud where, but this is a "forum for the preservation of ""military history" , and after your "short" departure, you come back with "political's" again, and again...
...I'm not sticking my head in the sand, and Am not totaly knowledgable to your extent, however, you seem to really have the shields up, and spear out for anyone that doesn't agree with your assessment of the political aspects of the spliting of hairs, Rep, Dem, Liberals, Conservers etc...

I, for one was torn more then most of the general public, due to being the "wrong" age, caught in the middle of a , my Nation at war abroad, and at home... during the 60's...I saw the demonstrations, I saw "Kent State", I saw the peacenicks, I felt the pain of thousands of mother's, and father's watching their children leaving , or coming come....
...you want to reflect on the political misgivings of then, fine, get off yourt ass, and do something about it now instead of ranting about it here at everyone else...
...I enjoy your truths about your experiences as a soldier, not your speculations/ observations on the political sceneas they are in defence constantly...
...but what do I know, I'm just a flyboy who did "his" part on the domestic front, I do like your "balls" your what makes us who we are as a "unit", there is no "I" in team, there is a m, and an e though, but thats not you....

Thanks--I don't agree with everything you say but I appreciate it the good feeling behind it.I'lll look at that, really. i appreciate constructive criticesm. taking daily personal inventory is part of the 12 steps.
I mean this person no harm--bvut he's SO plain and So frequent and SO candid in his comments about what i value and believe, well, I just feel it is my duty to point out he is in error. Virtually no one else will do it and my duty as an American in search of truth demands it--the above is a ridiculous lie and too easily proven.
I don't look to start fights--but if I run from one its only to get a better shot--they taught me that in lrrp school
