We've been close friends since we met and I hope we are for life. Yo, Tommy, anyone I went through a whole tour of the Nam, with is my brother, even if it was only 12 days. Thanks for all of the congrats and well wishes, folks. I've never been age conscious before, but this one gets to me a little bit. But "The Boys Of '47" is a fair sized group on here so it's comforting to know that I won't be alone in turning 60 this year, not to mention the one's that got there LAST year and sooner.
Bob: Thanks for the  on the sideburns. That picture was taken in '70, over a year after I got out of the Army. One of the first things I did was grow the sideburns and let my hair grow out, declaring myself a civilian. Sid: I held up surprisingly well. I'll post some pictures and tell about it on another thread when we get them all downloaded and sorted.
