Default We Just Can't Do Anything Right

3-10-2024

“Our Nation’s Enemies Are Not Stupid!” They are cunning, they are fairly-well-educated and they are often ruthless! But control the brain and its senses and you control that person as well!

“CONTROL being the key-word here!”

Now, how in the ‘Hell’ can this agenda miss, especially considering the fact that many people spend much of their waking hours glued to their television sets? “And that boob-tube tells you how to think, what products you should buy, and even what norms you can partake of daily!”

But does brainwashing only entail screwing with the minds of other mortal beings, or just plain financial and personal control of any individual that prompts many people to flood into even your own homes, with their constant bombardment of incessant chatter, suggestive thoughts and even life-controlling rhetoric? “In other words - your television sets, your computers and even your cell-phones etc!!” But what about those poor, damn fools who still believe that their every thought is their own, their every impulse is spontaneous and their every whim is original?

But to even think (for the briefest of moments), that all of this interaction is totally of your own making or even of your very own design, is like avowing that every person that you encounter on a daily basis is out for the betterment of mankind or has no ulterior motives, no self-enhancing agenda or just plain, no sick designs, is to leave yourself wide-open to also believing in “The Tooth Fairy, The Loch-Ness Monster and even Tinker Bell Herself?”

“This is truly a cold and hard world that we all live in and only the tough, the thick skinned and the realist himself, will ever survive it unscathed and mentally undiminished, in my opinion!?” And those who fall short of this mortal delusion, just may find themselves all chewed-up, pre-digested and even torn to shreds, if they are not diligent, prepared for anything or even defensive in their way of thinking! And if this makes a man vulnerable or a target for the mentally warped, or even for sick ridicule, then who (I ask you) is the bigger fool or the mental retard?

And yes, we do indeed live within a world of various wonders, but (once again) who is the bigger fool within that world, is it the fool themselves, or possibly even those who assist the fool in his sickening agenda?

I truly pity “The Poor Devil”, when these bastards begin to arrive in droves!! And even though you can not punish a man for just being a man, you can (in most cases), still recognize a skunk at the first whiff!!

Lightbulb Shakespeare Said It First - "To stink/smell to high heaven?"

Shakespeare Said It First - "To stink/smell to high heaven?"
Re: https://english.stackexchange.com/qu...to-high-heaven

[Etymology or idioms:]
-
Expression: It smells to heaven. Spoken by King Claudius. The entire line is “O, my offense is rank, it smells to heaven. It hath the primal eldest curse upon it. A brother’s murder.” Today, the phrase “stinks to high heaven” is more generally used. While the line in Hamlet refers to the metaphorical “stench” of an evil deed, today is used mostly as a hyperbole in reference to extremely unpleasant scents

But Is this indeed the first usage of this idiomatic expression?

If not, what is the origin and etymology of the phrase "Stink/Smell to high heaven?" What time period?

And there are biblical references to 'smells' and 'high heaven':

God directed use of incense in Old Testament worship and the fragrant or detestable aroma, as the case may be, that rose into “high heaven” or before the “nose” of God.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another Expression:

Why did Marcellus say something is Rotten in Denmark?
-
When Marcellus states, 'Something is rotten in the state of Denmark' he is talking about Denmark's relationship with Norway but on the symbolic level he is summing up Claudius' corrupting effect on the kingdom which is intensified by his unpunished crime.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personal note: I'd say this phrase is still used today - I've hear it several times - just wanted to know why - that came about or how and where that phrase - came from!
