Thumbs up CSA Grave Dedication Ceremony 12 Apr 03

Satuday the 12th of April 2003 The Capt. James Knox Camp SCV attended the Grave dedication of Pvt James H. Johson of Blackshear,Georgia. The Ceremony was put on by the Waycross Camp with Judge Ben Smith presideing. The Stone was obtained from the VA by the local chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy. A web page has been put up with the URL of http://btconline.net/~paint/ for all to View the rare ceremony dedicating a CSA Soldiers grave complete with 21 gun salute. If you ever get the chance to attend one it is a nice ceremony to attend to pay our respect as Veterans Of Forign Wars and service to our country. God Bless our troops past and present and those who will follow in the Future.
