Shirley gave me the word the other day. This is truely sad, but wonderful news, and we should all thank his Congressman for helping out.

Now, how many did just that? True, that's really part of their job, but when they finally get around to doing their job, he needs to get the kudos for a job well done. And golly gee, it was one of those Wascally Wepublicans. I can't even get a response from my congressman, a member of that other party.

I hear your frustration Scout....really. I have the same problem here. I send him questions about Veterans stuff and get either no response or one that has absolutely nothing to do with the question. It's like talking to Edith Bunker. I have been voting for him for a few years, but voted against him after seeing his 0 (zero) voting record on Veterans Issues and his weird responses. Friday night, Deb and I went to our favorite restaurant and watering hole. His office is right across the street and the parking spaces, 3, are marked "24/7 private parking" and a number to call if you get towed. I parked there and was hoping they had the guts to tow my DV and PH tagged truck. They didn't. I will never vote for the SOB again.

My congressman here in Georgia does pretty good for us here in the 1st District and he is good at responding to letters and emails so I keep voting for ole Jack Kingston.
When I lived in Missouri John Ashcroft was our Best Senator for responding and Senator Bond wouldn't respond to anything Now my last Congressman from Missouri and later his wife Joann Emerson took over when he passed away did good for our district and veterans .

I believe in sending my Senators and Congressman emails every month to let them know I read whats going on and tell them my opinion even if they don't read it their secretary has to save every email they get now, after that law was passed So all our emails to Congress are now part of the official records .

Don't know about Democratic Congressman. My district hasn't had one since the Civil War.
