What was the toughest military school
You ever attended?? Physically and mentally. For me it was Artillery Officers Candidate School. I have been to Ranger School, Jump School, Special Forces Officers Course, Pathfinder, Demolition School, Jumpmaster Course and a few others that were Classified as to title and content. None of them compared with my 6 months at Robinson Barracks at Fort Sill Oklahoma. I started OCS in September 1966 and of the original 130+ we graduated 27 of us in 6 months, total class of 44. The last guy to be kicked out did so after walking across the stage at graduation. He wore a pair of bright yellow socks with his Greens. I graduated from OCS number 3 in the class in Gunnery, number 1 in Observed Fire (shooters award) and proudly carried the title of Jark King for Class 7-67. Was commissioned as a 2LT on 7 march 1967, I had to get my parents permission to get married the next week because I wasn't 21 yet.
