Hurricane Florence: National Guard answers the call

Charleston, S.C. (9/16/18) - National Guard members flowed in from 10 other states to help North and South Carolina units supporting civil authorities responding to Tropical Storm Florence today. More than 7,100 Army and Air National Guard members are responding to Florence today. Meanwhile, the National Guard continues to respond to storms affecting Hawaii and Guam and to wildfires affecting Western states, in addition to support on the Southwest border and to the warfight overseas.
