World's finest tripod
While attending a dealer show in December I received a page for the "Gitzo Rep" So there was this lady with a Gitzo tripod in hand that she was having trouble getting repaired. So she showed me were one of the leg stops was broken and wanted to know what the warranty was. I told her "lifetime".
She told me how it happened, more latter. So my regional manager was there also so I said "lets go ask Mark" Mark looked at it and said we can test to see if it was a defective casting. I said what if a bear had grabbed it. He said "Yea Right" Turns out the lady was in Alaska when a polar bear charged and she ran back to her vehicle with camera but left the tripod behind. A picture is worth a thousand words ! 0T4W0161 Polar Bear.jpg We have since learned from a NG photographer that Mark knows, that this is a 3 year old female and they are like teenagers very unpredictable. The tripod was fixed No Charge. dave |

David
FYI if anyone has questions in photography or video have them feel free to ask. I primarily sell accessories of all kinds so may be able to help. Don't really want to get in to F stops etc. but do have the sources to answer almost all questions. Dave |
