Default Well so much for saving any monies

That's a big list - lots of employment for folks. Just wonder how many will really get the services - they are expecting from these folks???

Lightbulb ugh

Good point, Boats... now that I look closer at the list, kinda organizing where all those agencies are intended to serve, I now understand what the Democrats are meaning when they so often say that "the more people experience the benefits of this Bill the more they will like it."

I think what they SHOULD have said, were they being 100% honest, is "the more our political constituencies experience the benefits of this Bill the more THEY will like it."

Now I can also see exactly why certain major lobbying groups favored it well enough to get it passed.

Quite right, it is definitely gonna create a whole bunch of jobs, for somebody.

Wonder if health care delivery, pricing and availability will be improved though.

... don't think so.

Default WOW!!!,...Blue.

Amazing, isn't it? The 159 NEW & LARGE Federal Bureaucracies have been cavalierly ADDED
to: "We The (Schnooks)" already Quite Overbloated Government,...and dictatorially all at one
shot to-boot!

NEW 16,500 (SIXTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED) disgusting IRS Agents/Collectors/Enforcers
not even mentioned aside,...has anyone even figured how many MORE THOUSANDS of high
paid bureaucrats ON THE PUBLIC DOLE The U.S. Taxpayer will be ADDITIONALLY FORCED
PAYING FOR?

Those 16,500 newbies increases The IRS by about a third.
So then, what percentage or fraction of increase to Our Federal Government do the 159 NEW
agencies forced upon us represent?

How about all those Washington & State Branch Buildings & Offices obviously needed, ALSO?
Such ALSO don't come cheap,...for We The U.S. Taxpayer.

Hell, only idiots or totally duped followers could seriously believe the bandied-about-nonsense
that increasing The U.S. Government so-damn-much will save The U.S. Taxpayer about a 130
BILLION$ in 10 years.

Such is nationally, honestly, practically & pragmatically impossible.
Also,...ADDING anything to anything NEVER saves anyone a dime. It's just illogical.
Whatever needed more always cost more. Want to SAVE? Buy less & pay less.

Given the historical realities that Government Programs or Policies NEVER COST as politically
projected or promissed, this European style Healthcare Dictate and/or: "Obamacare" should
QUITE differently cost us all QUITE DEARLY anyway.

I figure government handling healthcare should cost We Obedient & Docile Subjects at least
a few TRILLION$,...in 10 years. Think I'm calculating too small, Friends?

Neil

Default gggrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Recon

The one that gets me the most, and seems to be suggestive of how exaggerated everything else in the legislation actually becomes, is when they keep repeating that they are "closing the donut hole"... yup, by a big fat $250.

$250. Chump change

Some seniors spend $250 ON A SINGLE PILL!

Default Solely U.S. CITIZEN: "Seniors",...Blue!!!

NO Criminally Illegal Alien : "Seniors" ever pay One-Thin-Dime for Meds while typically on
America's QUITE STUPID Politically Dictated MEDICAID, for MILLIONS of foreign nationals daily
sneaking in (actually waltzing right through) our Politically Dictated WIDE OPEN BORDERS.

Only We Americans are forced paying absorbidant prices for medications,...which usually cost
about one quarter (OR MUCH LESS) in Canada, Mexico or anywhere else on earth.

Fellow Bipartisan Dictated Fools, Subjects, Victimized Marks or whatever,...why is that?

Also & since US Citizenry are forced paying for what obviously The World's Welfare State,...
shouldn't drugs be at least a little cheaper for: "We The (Schnook$)" and/ORRRRRRRRRRRRR
PAYERS OF EVERYTHING that Our Glorious Rulers can GENEROUSLY imagine or conjure-up?

Think me expecting or just wishing too-damn-much from OUR Ruling Elite?

Neil

P.S. Ironically, many of those SOLELY EXPENSIVE in America DRUGS are manufactured
right here in my homestate of New Jersey. Such only adds to my overall disgust with DICTATES!!!

The reason they cost more here is because this is the only place they are allowed to advertise prescription drugs to patients. The percent more they cost is the amount it costs for the advertising budget. But of course any attempt to stop this would just be attributed to more liberal interference in private enterprise. That is how they made you a prisoner to your own beliefs.

What's funny about those ads though is that they spend maybe 75% of the air time going over the cover-your-ass legal precautions... "side effects may include inability to pee for three years, increased heart rate, loss of marital affections, water in your gas tank, dry skin on your nose, election of Democrats, US Marines changing their insignia, Jane Fonda marrying Rush Limbaugh, etc etc etc..."

You know, there is really a lot of things that need to be done to fix health care and none of them involve giving an already corrupt, bloated system more money. This would save tens of billions, not one dollar of which treated a single patient.

I am sure that is just the start. Federal programs breed like cockroaches and almost never are abolished. Several programs from WW1 ( helium ? ) were only abolished a few years ago.
