been a busy morning so far, I can finally sit down for a bit, I think I need a beer, how about you Roger, reaches into the cooler and pulls out a couple beers, hands one to Roger, looks like we're going to be spending the day inside today, too damn wet to sit out by the pool.

Just been lurking around. Can't think of much to say some days.

Got home from work last night and had a message on the answering machine from my old 1st sgt. What a surprise that was. Haven't seen or talked to him since '68. Gave him a call and reminisced for 30 min. He's gonna try and get a reunion going sometime this fall. Since we are scattered from NY to CA, it might be centrally located like in Branson. That would be great as I can drive there in a day.

Yes, I believe it is not going to be a good day....The sun comes out for a little and then we get a thunderstorm the next....

If you have a listed phone no. it is on the web in various directories. He said he had the unit roster from '67 and it must have your home state listed somewhere. You can do a search for phone no's on the web with just a name but if you know the state it narrows it down considerably. I found six other guys that were in my platoon that way.

I think I'll have one for the old 1st shirt. Back then I couldn't stand the guy. Always in your face. But he did stick up for us if we got in trouble. Must have been like being a dad to 20-30 crazy kids. He'd get us out of trouble but his punishment was always worse than we would've gotten otherwise.
