At War With Ourselves

One has but to click on the television set in the morning to get wind of the many wars that are taking place, right here in our midst! And if it isn’t a product war, then it is some political dispute, and occasionally even a hot conflict between nations or ideologies – so what else is new?

Now I am not making alibis for these foreign nations, and lord knows, they certainly do lunge at each other’s throats on occasions as well, but it does seem to me that no nation that is out to better its own lot would be spending the vast amount of its time making war against itself, now would it? There is, after all, just too damned much of a positive and constructive nature to do, without their making constant war, of one kind or another, against their very own people, don’t you think?

And last, but certainly not least, maybe we should spend “Far Less Time - Trifling With Trump” and “Far More Time” doing whatever it was that made our nation truly great to begin with!!

HC - we'd have to resurrect our dead to accomplish that! We don't think like our Fore-Fathers and we don't have the littoral speakers like those long past. We have hip-shooters and speculators. Great leaders are far and few between. Politics is nasty and outrageous at times. We lack compromise and enterprise. Self interest is game today. We don't work as a team and until we do - we will have MOTS (more of the same). That's the way I see it today - and yesterday - and the day before.
