ONLY thing you hit................was your HEAD when you jumped to the conclusions you repeatedly do when arriving at such ridiculous, illogical and illtempered attempts at reasoning! :re:

You might want to have that "bump" on your head checked by a professional for long term treatment and repair! :cd:

Have a nice evening.

KERRY AND THE KILLING

In his campaign book Massachusetts Senator John Kerry notes there was fine line between actions that merited a court martial or a medal. He reported that medals were given for questionable activities in order to boost morale.

This narrow distinction figures into the controversy that has raged for a several weeks regarding the Silver Star Kerry was awarded for killing a Vietnamese man.

For more than 30 years, Kerry has portrayed a heroic version of a life and death struggle -- of staring down a suspected guerilla who was about to fire upon Kerry's swift boat. It was kill. Or be killed. At least, that's the version Kerry tells.

Eyewitnesses offer a far different account. They allege Kerry shot a wounded teenager retreating from battle.

Kerry has made public, hundreds of pages of official Navy documents to bolster his many claims. Conspicuous by its absence is the official after action report of what actually happened that day. The after action report written by John Kerry, himself.

In an exclusive, The Point has obtained this document from U.S. Navy archives (you can see it here). The pertinent section reads:

"PCF 94 beached in center of ambush in front of small path when Viet Cong sprung up from bunker 10 feet from unit. Man ran with weapon towards hootch. Forward M-60 machine gunner wounded man in leg. Officer-in-charge, LTjg Kerry, jumped ashore and gave pursuit while other units saturated area with fire and beached placing assault parties ashore. Kerry chased VC inland behind hootch and shot him while he fled -- capturing one B-40 rocket launcher with round in chamber."

So there you have it. The official record written by John Kerry supports what the critics have alleged rather than the John Wayne Kerry version the Massachusetts liberal has been telling.

Death is a reality of war. Events occur that are not for the faint of heart. Yet, John Kerry's account of killing what turned out to really be a wounded man while he fled continues Kerry's pattern of lies, exaggerations and embellishments.

Killing a wounded man while he retreated from battle is not an action that most servicemen would brag about. But then again, most servicemen would not return home and attack the very country they were supposed to fight for.

And that's the Point.

The latest Democratic gambit to win Florida in the 2004 election: HUMAN EVENTS reports that liberal Sunshine State judges are trying to give the right to vote to as many as 620,000 convicted felons. (We can only conclude Democrats consider felons part of their core constituency!)

Interestingly, the usual Kerry crusaders out here that normally drive every morsel of a Bush bash to the center of the earth appear to have abandon Rather/CBS to twist slowly in the wind. Even the rabidly Kerryite L.A. Times has approached the Rather caper with a jaundiced eye and less than supportive words. Methinks the DNC squish machine has disconnected from Rather?s skullduggery as too hot to handle and are putting boucoup distance between he and they. Why am I thinking of the lyrics that go, ?Poor Judd is dead, poor Judd Fry is dead?. Ha, I?d bet Sis could name those lyrics and the Broadway stage production in a heartbeat.

Anyway, CBS probably put up a bundle to gain access to worthless, stupid trash, and then set about making it super important, stupid trash. I?m wondering if the all-important mega-secret source will set about collecting another bundle of cash to render the super important, stupid trash, back to the original status of mere, worthless, stupid trash. Might as well snag the suckers both in coming and going, eh?
Tiz election season, the money flowith in torrents and opinions and worthless trash are easy to come by and available in copious amounts.

Walla Scamp....

Just so you'll not be searching for the lyrics in your sleep tonight....

From the Rodgers and Hammerstein Musical Oklahoma , Performed by Howard Da Silva (a former steelworker) as debut perfomance on Broadway in 1930. The character Judd Fry is the putative villian with a taste for soft porn and suffers an unrequited crush for Laurey. He's a poorly paid, lonely ranch hand with dour demanor. He was rather mean in his judgementof the"Okies" who could not be discouragedfrom a celebration of hope in the future of their new state.

Poor Jud is Dead

Curly:
Pore Jud is daid,
Pore Jud Fry is daid,
All gather 'round his cawfin now and cry
He had a heart of gold
And he wasn't very old
Oh why did such a feller have to die?

Pore Jud is daid
Pore Jud Fry is daid,
He's lookin' oh so peaceful and serene

Jud: And serene!

Curly:
He's all laid out to rest
With his hands acrost his chest
His fingernails have never been so clean!

(Spoken)
Then the preacher'd get up and he'd say:

(Chanting)
Folks, we are gathered here to moan and groan over our brother Jud Fry, who hung hisself up by a rope in his smokehouse

(Spoken)
Then there'd be weepin' and wailin'... from some of those women.

Then he'd say:

(Chanting)
Jud was the most misunderstood man in this here territory. People used to think he was a mean ugly feller and they called
him a dirty skunk and an ornery pig stealer

(Sung)
But the folks that really knowed him.

(Chant)
Knowed that beneath them two dirty shirts he always wore

(Sung)
There beat a heart as big as all outdoors
Jud:
As big as all outdoors.
Curly:
Jud Fry loved his feller man
Jud:
He loved hes feller man

Curly (Spoken):
He loved the birds of the air and the beasts of the field. He loved the mice and the vermin in the barns, and he treated the rats like equals, which was right.

And he loved little children. He loved everybody and everything in the whole world! Only he never let on, so nobody ever knowed it.

(Sung)
Pore Jud is Daid
Pore Jud Fry is daid
His friends'll weep and wail for miles around

Jud: Miles Around!

Curly:
The daisies in the dell
will give out a different smell
Because Pore Jud is underneath the ground.

Jud:
Pore Jud is daid
A Candle lights his haid
He's layin' in a cawfin made of wood

Curly: Wood...

Jud:
And folks are feelin' sad
Cause they useter treat him bad
But now they know their friend is gone for good

Curly: Good..

Both: Pore Jud is Daid a candle lights his haid!

Curly:
He's lookin' oh so purty and so nice
He looks like he's asleep,
It's a shame that he won't keep
But it's summer and we're running out of ice.

Both: Pore Jud, Pore Jud.

That?s the one Sis. Oklahoma made the big screen in 1955 and a young Rod Steiger portrayed Jud. In the time immediately before the Vietnam War I think every High School in the US that had a drama department probably put on a production of Oklahoma. I remember it well.
Simpler times then and a much different value system I think. These times Hollywood?s own Ms. Goldberg delivers the recent ?Heart and Soul of America? ode to hate cliquey and we think we got something way, way cool, at least some do.

So Sis, to get your day going ?? ?We know we belong to the land and the land we belong to is grand, so when we say???? You know the rest so boom out now.

Please oh please, tell us, Master Gimpy, just how many care packages, cards, and letters you have sent to our warriors in Iraq and Afghanistan!! Inquiring minds want to know. Telling us what a hero you are is is just like your boy Kerry, telling us, repetitively ad nauseum, what a hero he is. Very poor form. Do you really need a scoreboard to justify your existence?

So you can cut and paste statistics? BFD. What are the supposed to prove, that war is violent, sometimes people die and or get wounded, and that infrastructure sometimes gets damaged or destroyed? Well, Duh to the nth degree. Your grasp for the obvious is overwhelming.

BTW: when is your boy Kerry going to distance himself from the Communist Party USA's endorsement?
