My Wife Became a U.S. Citizen...
Yesterday, my wife became a U.S. Citizen.
Along with about 2000 others in her group and another 2000 in the afternoon. It was a very nice ceremony, actually well organized. As a new American, she has high hopes for a great future, and the prospects of getting a good education and living the American dream. I am very proud of her. She also registered to vote, look out democommies, you got another conservative to worry about! She is from the Republic of Korea. Speaks better English than I do! And yes, it was a loooooong, and drawn out process. But, I have to give her credit for sticking with it. She was quite determined to get it. She studied for the test, and was answering American history and government questions better than a lot of folks that were born and raised here! Long live the USA!
