Majority of Liberal, NDP voters support Canada sending troops to Ukraine; 46% of Conservatives

1 in 2 Canadians overall support sending troops. (that almost a 50/50 split not bad).

A Mainstreet Research poll conducted one week prior to the Feb. 24 invasion found that 1 in 2 Canadians (48%) supported a theoretical troop deployment from Canada to Ukraine if Russia chose to invade. Liberal (58%) and NDP (54%) voters were more likely than Conservative (46%) and Bloc Québécois (47%) to support sending troops to help Ukraine.

PPC voters were the only respondents with clear minority support (25%) for sending troops if Russia invaded Ukraine.

Just imagin if you got a 50/50 split in all NATO forces you'd have plenty to offset
their invasion. (But here again lets consider the MadMan using nukes now that
would be a real kick in the ass)!

I bet China and North Korea would be watching that exchange from the sidelines.
(I don't think they want their lands blown up or contaminated with radiation.)
But then again as the wind blows - you just know that the radiation would be
spreading all around the globe for a horrific ending to say the least.

Not a pleasant thought is it - but the way we are going maybe that's the way life
on Earth becomes sterlized - and we have grand-finally of all life on Earth.

Canada fielded this consideration before the Russia's invasion: "Do you support or
oppose Canada sending troops to Ukraine if Russia chooses to invade?"

Aside from Canadian PPC supporters, very little differences across party lines in CN. This is (mostly) not a partisan issue.
